The Importance of the horses physical wellbeing.

The ridden- and competition horses are often put under a fair amount of physical stress. As in humans, this can easily result in muscular tension and soreness, influencing the horses natural way of going, lack of performance and of course their willingness to work.

In order keep our athletes happy and to get the best out of them, I find it essential to have their bodies regularly checked by qualified professionals.

I am very lucky to have my mother regularly visiting me, helping all the
horses and myself!

My mother has studied alternative medicine and Acupuncture for humans in Switzerland where she ran her own practice before she started concentrating on helping horses.

She has since gained her Reiki Masters Certificate and qualified as a Energetic Horse Osteopath (nach Salomon) in Germany.

I find it very important to keep a regular dialog with my mother about the horses work and behaviour, as she understands myself and how I work, as well as how the horses and human bodies work!

Alongside, I found help from the following therapists most helpful. As with humans, horses respond differently to different treatments, depending on their present needs:

Neill Sauders Bsc. (Hons) D.C.A.C.

Mc Timoney-Corley Chiropractor,

Bowen, V.H.T. and Equine Touch.

Amanda Sutton and her team (chart. vet. physiotherapist).
